Data recovery from corrupted observations via l1 minimization

چکیده
This paper studies the problem of recovering a signal vector and the corrupted noise vector from a collection of corrupted linear measurements through the solution of a l1 minimization (2.1.2), where the sensing matrix is a partial Fourier matrix whose rows are selected randomly and uniformly from rows of a full Fourier matrix. After choosing the parameter in (2.1.2) appropriately, we show that the recovery can be successful even when a constant fraction of the measurement are arbitrarily corrupted, provided that the signal vector is sparse enough. The upper-bound on the sparsity of the signal vector required in this paper is asymptotically optimal when the sensing matrix is partial bounded orthonormal system (BOS) [1] and is better than those achieved by recent literatures [2, 3] by a ( ) factor. Furthermore, the assumptions we impose on the signal vector and the corrupted noise vector are loosest comparing to the existing literatures [2-4] which lenders our recovery guarantees are more applicable. Extensive numerical experiments based on synthesis as well as real world data are presented to verify the conclusion of the proposed theorem and to demonstrate the potential of the l1 minimization framework.

Exact recoverability from dense corrupted observations via L1 minimization
This paper confirms a surprising phenomenon first observed by Wright et al. [1] [2] under different setting: given m highly corrupted measurements y = AΩ•x + e, where AΩ• is a submatrix whose rows are selected uniformly at random from rows of an orthogonal matrix A and e is an unknown sparse error vector whose nonzero entries may be unbounded, we show that with high probability `1-minimization ...
متن کاملExact Recovery for Sparse Signal via Weighted l_1 Minimization
Numerical experiments in literature on compressed sensing have indicated that the reweighted l1 minimization performs exceptionally well in recovering sparse signal. In this paper, we develop exact recovery conditions and algorithm for sparse signal via weighted l1 minimization from the insight of the classical NSP (null space property) and RIC (restricted isometry constant) bound. We first int...
متن کاملRestoration of images corrupted by mixed Gaussian-impulse noise via l1-l0 minimization
In this paper, we study the restoration of images corrupted by Gaussian plus impulse noise, and propose a l1–l0 minimization approach where the l1 term is used for impulse denoising and the l0 term is used for a sparse representation over certain unknown dictionary of images patches. The main algorithm contains three phases. The first phase is to identify the outlier candidates which are likely...
متن کاملRecovery of signals under the high order RIP condition via prior support information
In this paper we study the recovery conditions of weighted l1 minimization for signal reconstruction from incomplete linear measurements when partial prior support information is available. We obtain that a high order RIP condition can guarantee stable and robust recovery of signals in bounded l2 and Dantzig selector noise settings. Meanwhile, we not only prove that the sufficient recovery cond...
متن کاملOn unified view of nullspace-type conditions for recoveries associated with general sparsity structures
We discuss a general notion of “sparsity structure” and associated recoveries of a sparse signal from its linear image of reduced dimension possibly corrupted with noise. Our approach allows for unified treatment of (a) the “usual sparsity” and “usual l1 recovery,” (b) block-sparsity with possibly overlapping blocks and associated block-l1 recovery, and (c) low-rank-oriented recovery by nuclear...
